Terms and Conditions

Please review our service agreement carefully before using our services

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Chandigarh Cabs' services. By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our service.

1. Definitions

  • "Customer" – Any individual or organization booking or using Chandigarh Cabs' services.

  • "Booking" – A confirmed cab reservation made through WhatsApp, phone, or website, acknowledged by Chandigarh Cabs with driver and vehicle details.

  • "No-Show" – When a Customer fails to appear at the scheduled pickup location within 15 minutes of the agreed pickup time without prior notice.

  • "Local Trip" – Travel within the Tricity area (Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula).

  • "Outstation Trip" – Travel beyond the Tricity area.

  • "Estimated Fare" – A fare provided at the time of booking as an estimate only, subject to variation based on trip factors.

  • "Force Majeure" – Any event beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government orders, or emergencies.

2. Agreement to Terms

By booking a cab through Chandigarh Cabs (via WhatsApp, phone call, or website), you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Services

  • Chandigarh Cabs provides pre-booked taxi services for local, outstation, and airport travel.

  • The Fare Calculator on our website provides an estimate only. The final fare may vary based on waiting time, tolls, parking fees, detours, and demand.

  • All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.

4. Booking Process

  • Bookings can be initiated via WhatsApp message or direct phone call.

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after you receive a confirmation from a Chandigarh Cabs representative, including vehicle and driver details.

  • Chandigarh Cabs usually confirms bookings within 15–30 minutes, subject to vehicle availability.

  • Chandigarh Cabs facilitates the service with verified drivers and ensures quality and reliability throughout your journey.

5. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate booking details (name, contact number, pickup address, destination).

  • Treat drivers and vehicles with respect and courtesy.

  • Smoking and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.

  • You are responsible for your luggage and belongings. Chandigarh Cabs is not liable for loss or damage.

  • Misbehavior, intoxication, unlawful activity, or unsafe requests may lead to immediate cancellation of the ride without refund.

  • Cleaning Charges: Any spillage, vomiting, or damage to the vehicle interiors will incur an additional cleaning fee of ₹500–₹2000 depending on severity.

6. Pricing and Payment

  • The final fare is calculated at the end of the trip, including base price, distance, waiting charges, tolls, state taxes, and parking (if applicable).

  • Waiting Time Charges: First 15 minutes are free. After that, ₹200/hour is applicable (or ₹100 for every 30 minutes).

  • Advance Payment: For outstation trips, a 25% advance payment is mandatory at the time of booking. The advance is adjustable against the final fare and non-refundable in case of No-Show.

  • Payment Methods: Cash, UPI, or any agreed method at the time of booking.

Important Payment Clause:

All payments must be made directly to Chandigarh Cabs' official UPI scanner or bank account only.

Payment made directly to drivers without written confirmation from Chandigarh Cabs will not be considered as received payment. Chandigarh Cabs will not be responsible for any loss arising from such unauthorized payments.

7. Driver's Rights

  • Drivers may refuse service if the Customer is carrying illegal substances, exceeding seating capacity, or requesting unsafe routes.

  • Drivers reserve the right to terminate a trip if they feel unsafe due to Customer behavior (intoxication, abuse, unlawful activity).

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Chandigarh Cabs is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures, accidents, weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Chandigarh Cabs' liability is limited to the value of the fare charged. We do not provide travel insurance.

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed flights, missed events, or business losses.

9. Force Majeure

Chandigarh Cabs shall not be held liable for failure or delay in services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or emergencies.

10. Governing Law

All disputes shall be subject to Chandigarh jurisdiction only.

11. Changes to Terms

Chandigarh Cabs reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website.
